1. Acceptable Use
By using Luminary, you agree to use the application for its intended purpose of tracking career achievements and generating professional brags. You agree not to misuse the application, attempt to reverse engineer it, or use the AI features to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
2. Subscription Terms
Luminary offers a premium subscription at $25/year (subject to local pricing and currency conversions).
- Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.
- Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.
- Refunds: Refunds are handled in accordance with the standard Google Play refund policy.
3. Account and Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of the data you enter into Luminary, including your profile information and career achievements. We do not claim ownership over your personal data.
4. Disclaimer on AI-Generated Output
Luminary utilizes artificial intelligence to assist in generating professional text and achievements.
- Not Professional Advice: The output generated by the AI is for informational and assistance purposes only. It does not constitute professional career or legal advice.
- User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content before using it externally (e.g., in performance reviews, resumes, or public profiles).
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luminary and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the app; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the app; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
6. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Egypt, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the latest revision at the top of this page. By continuing to access or use Luminary after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
